| Consignments...If you have firearms that you would like to place on consignment, we offer a 75/25 split. We will assist you in setting a price and will market your firearm until sold. In most cases, items will be offered online as well as displayed and shown in the store. Every attempt is made to get the sales price you desire, and in no case will we sell the item for less without your express consent. Subsequent to sale, you will receive a check for 75% of the sales amount. Many individuals find this arrangement beneficial whether they are "thinning the herd" or just want some extra cash in their pockets for a rainy day... Please note: Consignments are discretionary and each item will be considered on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to refuse any item presented for consignment for any reason. In addition, past consignment sales for a customer do not imply an agreement to accept additional items from that individual. Trade-ins and Purchases of your Firearms...All trade-ins and purchases of firearms owned by you are discretionary. Due to the present economic environment, many individuals approach us daily with firearms they wish to sell. Unfortunately, due to the sheer abundance of firearms offered to us, we can't buy them all, nor is every item well-suited to a timely resale. Please understand that we must decide on a case by case basis whether we are interested in any particular item. THE STORY OF OUR FLAG
When we executed the lease for our store, we loved the open feeling of the elongated space and very much appreciated the Colonial feeling of the exposed brick on the Southeast wall. Delaware is, after all, the first State. It wasn't long and we and had a strong vision for how a little paint, a bit of imagination and an intense desire to share a special space with our customers would help us shape the visual experience of everyone who visits. One thing that was certain with a name like Patriot Firearms of Delaware was the necessity to have an amazing U.S. flag and all it symbolizes as the anchor of this space. And, so, the Northwest wall had a space for nearly a year that was designated "the flag wall," yet there was no flag. The reason? Who knew it would be a tall order to meet our specs? We wanted to have a flag that was made in the USA (you cannot imagine how many US flags fly every day that are made in China and other faraway places), we wanted the flag to be made of a traditional material -- cotton, and we wanted the flag to be pocketed to facilitate a tapestry rod mounting. Add to all this that we needed the flag in 5'x8' and we ran out of options quickly. We searched high and low and were told even by those companies who claim to make "custom" flags that our order was not possible -- everyone offered one in polyester only. Finally, a customer came in who knew of a company in Williamsburg, Virginia that could handle our order. This company is homegrown like us. They are a family business that worked hard and sacrificed heavily to obtain the American dream. Now, their flags are proudly flying in the Pentagon and many other official Federal installations and landmarks. Nearly a year has gone by since we opened and we FINALLY have our flag! It was a custom order and took weeks to receive, but every stitch is perfect and it is all the things we value in a flag. It has finally taken its' place on the wall! Our deepest thanks and our sincere gratitude go to the family and owners of FLAGSTUFF.COM for their kind assistance in making this a priority. We couldn't be happier with the work they did for us!!! | | Transfers for Delaware Residents...
